After completing PhD in chemistry from the university of Lille 1, I worked as a research associate in the university of Sheffield for 4 years. During these years, I have been continuously involved in tutoring privately for KS3/A-level students. I have now joined a PGCE course at The University of Notttingham in order to be qualified as a full-time teacher.

My key areas are chemistry, biology, physics and Maths for the students at different level. Having tutored A-level chemistry/Maths/Biology on one-to-one basis for more than 7 years, I have gained a very good knowledge of curriculum mainly for AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards. I have been also involved in tutoring KS3/GCSE triple science (chemistry physic and biology) and mathematics for more than 10 years. As a tutor, I have dealt with students with the range of abilities which helped me to tailor my teaching techniques in accordance to the pupil’s capacity. I encourage my students to develop their own skills, knowledge and confidence by building their concept in an easy way with different examples, modelling and animation and sometimes using relevant metaphors.

Over the last three years, I have started tutoring for undergraduate and graduate level students particularly inorganic and physical chemistry. I have also tutored science for BTEC engineering students for the same duration. I am amicable, enthusiastic and hard-working tutor who is always willing to work on effective teaching/learning. Creating positive relationship with pupil and use of good humour has always been my strengths.

I do provide both face-to-face and online sessions depending upon the students’ convenience and requirements.
