I am a native Spanish speaker and accomplished teacher and tutor. I obtained my degree in Translation and Interpretation in Barcelona in 2004 (English-French-Italian). After successfully completing this degree, I did a Master’s degree in International Trade and worked for four years in an International company as a Market analyst. In 2010 I decided to pursue my aspiration of becoming a language teacher and finished my PGCE in 2011, obtaining QTS in 2012. Through my time as a qualified teacher, I have been supporting French and Spanish students from KS3 to KS5 throughout their GCSE and A-level exams preparation as well as offering one-to-one and after school lessons.
I have achieved outstanding lesson planning and delivery in all formal observations as well as excellent implementation of strategies to raise standards of student achievement and independent learning.
During my time in the MFL department, I helped in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, and complete schemes of work for KS3, KS4 and A-level, providing fun and purposeful lessons and infusing students with confidence and self motivation.
