Whether we help our students by connecting them with one of our expert, professionally verified tutors or by enrolling them onto one of our very own courses, we remain dedicated to educational growth in all forms.
Our Foundations
Tutor Finder has evolved from our online tuition school, Arlen Academy. Whilst delivering outstanding tuition via Arlen Academy our founder Kieron Lomax, an experienced tutor, found that there was a plethora of inspirational educators in his local area who he had no knowledge of. Realising the impact that could be made to students around the country and internationally by providing a platform to connect them with the best tuition around, Tutor Finder was created.
Where We Are Now
Tutor Finder now has dozens and dozens of the best tutors around listing their services with us. Each tutor has been vetted to the highest standard, and our platform allows anybody to find and book the right tuition for them. Our online tuition school, Arlen Academy, now runs over 200 classes per month through Tutor Finder and we are committed to growing this even further in order to provide the highest quality of education to as many students as possible.
Next Steps
We know first-hand the difference that one-to-one and group tuition can have upon students, building both knowledge of a specific subject as well as increased confidence levels that can be taken into everyday life. We are growing each month, and will continue to add to our extensive portfolio of tutors. Our mission remains to help students achieve their very best with one-to-one and group tuition, all through our seamless platform.
Kieron Lomax is the founder and CEO of Arlen Education, and Tutor Finder has been his brainchild for a while. Kieron is dedicated to academic excellence, a graduate of the University of Cambridge and former teacher at Wellington College and Loughborough Endowed Schools. When not working, he can be found tending to his horses or running after his young son!
Abi Bilton is one of Arlen’s leading tutors, with an extremely broad knowledge that spans Science, Maths and English tuition. A trained engineer herself, Abi spent a long time spreading her joy for STEM subjects throughout Primary and Secondary schools before she dedicated her time to tuition. Away from tuition, Abi is a keen artist and illustrator, also teaching classes in painting in her free time.
Chris Keenan is Arlen’s Education Manager and joined us to help with the launch of Tutor Finder, which has been a roaring success so far. After working in the aviation sector, Chris retrained as a languages teacher and now mixes tuition in French and German with his responsibilities at Arlen. When he is not at work, Chris enjoys the great outdoors and is an avid ultrarunner, often spending his whole weekend running!
